Vice Principal
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
As the Vice Principal of Dover Middle School, I am excited to welcome you all to the 2026–2027 school year. Whether you are returning to DMS or entering the school for the first time, we look forward to an enriching school year together.
As we reflect on last year, it is important to celebrate our successes while continuing to identify opportunities for growth. Building on the success of our PBIS initiatives, student programs, and activities during the 2025–2026 academic year, we will continue working to develop and maintain a strong foundation of student support using the MTSS framework. My goals for a successful school year center on two core tenets: safety and engagement. With these priorities in mind, we remain committed to developing strong programs and systems that help our students thrive.
I would like to share a little about my professional and personal background. I have been an educator for more than 16 years and an administrator for approximately four years. I have taught various levels of middle and high school English, from seventh- and eighth-grade courses through AP Research and AP Literature. I have spent years developing my skills as an educator, including six cherished years, from 2015 to 2021, as a teacher in the Dover Public School District. Throughout my educational career, I have never stopped learning. I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from TCNJ, as well as a post-master's K–12 administrative certification from Caldwell University. I am currently working toward a doctoral degree at Drew University. In years past, I have also had the opportunity to take summer courses with esteemed professors from Harvard University and the University of Texas at Austin through Dover's professional development partnerships. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time around ice hockey rinks with my family.
Each day, we as educational professionals strive to engage and encourage our students so that they may realize their aspirations and achieve their goals. I look forward to fostering strong relationships with the Dover community and our families this year and in the years to come.
