Athletic Director Statement
Hello Dover Middle School Community.I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am excited to be serving the Dover School Community as the new Athletic Director and Supervisor of Health and Physical Education. I have more than a decade of teaching experience as a health and physical education teacher. My experience extends beyond the classroom as I have been working with athletes since 2007 as a coach and trainer, and I am proud to say that prior to coming to the district, I was a founding member of a school and built an athletic program.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Montclair State University. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from Montclair State University, where I made three All-American Teams and currently hold the school record for the most passes defended.
I believe athletic programs are an integral part of the curriculum in a comprehensive high school. All programs in the school will consider the overall development of each student. We take great pride that we are fortunate to have students from various cultures, with widely varied backgrounds, ability levels, and needs. One of my top priorities is to connect, inspire, build, and mobilize the leaders of the future by working tirelessly to help students find their purpose and instill the spirit of personal growth and development.
Please continue to check the athletic schedule frequently for the latest updated schedules for our athletic programs here at Dover Middle School. You may do this by downloading activity scheduler from your iPhone and google devices to check schedules on any handheld devices. For any additional assistance you can always contact the athletic office directly at (973) 989-2010 ext. 1517.
Thank you. Go Tigers!
